The staff are friendly, patient & helpful & seem happy to chat with those customers who want to 'pass the time of day'. The food is bountiful & delicious. You can often request a substitution item or added extras to your principal meal. Prices are very good for the well-filled plates laid before you. Yummy!

We had lunch here. Nice to see a decent selection of vegetarian options and they have decaff tea. The tea was in a good sized cup and hot and strong. We all ordered something different, yet the food arrived quickly and all together. My salad bowl with grilled halloumi was really tasty and filling. Pasta in a mushroom and cream sauce is my husband's favourite and he enjoyed that too. My mum had her favourite tomato soup and it came with thickly buttered white bread, just how she likes it. The cafe is cash only. The toilet is upstairs and was clean and tidy. A very pleasant lunch.
